Soft Close Doors
All of our doors and drawers are soft close hinges that open 110 degrees. If you don’t want your cabinet door to open all the way, order restrictor clips for the door, which will restrict the door opening to 86 degrees.
Door Dimensions
- Order your cabinet to the closest 1/8”. As a custom cabinet shop we allow you to choose the perfect size for your cabinets.
- Maximum Door Height: 72”
- Maximum Door Width: 24”
- Midrail: All doors taller than 48” require a midrail for stability. If you elect to not have a midrail, your Door Warranty will be voided.
- Standard drawer front height is 6”
- Door Bumpers: We provide 1/8" deep silicone door bumpers.
Wood Frame Door Materials
- Painted or stained 5 piece doors (link) have a solid wood frame.
- All our online orders will have a veneer MDF core.
- The center panel can be either veneer MDF core or solid center panel.
Decorative Door Hardware

- Pulls are available in 128mm = 5.04 inches
- Knobs are available in 1 5/8"

- For online orders, decorative hardware is not installed to allow you the flexibility of installation location.
Miter vs. Tenon Construction
- The door rails and stiles can be constructed in a variety of ways
- Miter: Our most refined style is our miter construction doors.
- Tenon: Tenon doors are the standard wood frame construction.
Small Doors & Drawers
- Drawer front with heights 6” or less will have reduced rails
- Door widths 5” - 7” will have reduced stiles
- For Tenon and Routed Doors, our reduced rails and stiles are 1 3/4”
- For Miter Doors, our reduced rails and stiles are 1 1/2”
- Door widths smaller than 5” will be slabs.
- Notice that when combining Reduced Rails with adjacent Regular Rails, there will be a slight misalignment. This is a reason why it is popular to do Top Drawers as Slabs.
- When selecting a Miter door with reduced rails and stiles, there might be a small misalignment against other door and drawer fronts.
Glass Doors with Mullions
All our glass doors with mullions (wood/painted bars) have one single pane of glass. Mullions are decorative accents attached to the door frame, providing structural support.
Door Reveals
A reveal is the space between the cabinet door and the adjacent object. It allows the door enough space to open freely.
- Standard bottom reveal is 0. If there is a Base Molding, or the cabinet sits on top of another object it needs to have a reveal.
- Standard top reveal is 1/8"
- Side reveal when there is a filler, applied panel, wall or appliance is 1/8"
- Side reveal when there is an adjacent cabinet is 1/16"
