Frameless Cabinets
With frameless cabinets, the door or drawer attaches to the box, allowing full access to the cabinet interior, giving you maximum storage capacity in the cabinets and drawers, without compromising the strength and stability of the cabinet box.
Inset Cabinets
Our Inset Cabinet line is our high-end luxury cabinet line. This furniture-look style of cabinets is elegant and sophisticated. With inset cabinets, the door or drawer sits inside the cabinet box.
Basic Dimensions to Know
A few dimensions you need to know:
- Cabinet full depth = cabinet box + bumper 1/8”) + door thickness (3/4“ or ⅞”)
- Interior depth = cabinet box - 1"
- Width always includes the Finished Ends (not fillers)
- Applied Slab thickness: 3/4“
- Applied Door Profile thickness: See your selected door specifications (typically 3/4" or 7/8”)
- Standard height of a base cabinets: 34.5" (includes 4” tall toe kick)
- Standard depth of a base cabinet box: 24"
- Standard depth of a wall cabinet box: 14"
- The bottom of a wall cabinet should be 54” from the floor.

- Standard depth of a fridge cabinet box: 25 1/2"
Size Limits of Doors, Drawers & Cabinets
Order your cabinet to the closest 1/8”. As a custom cabinet shop we allow you to choose the perfect size for your cabinets.
The size limits for the dimensions of doors, drawers and cabinets are listed below.
- Maximum door width: 24"
- Maximum drawer box width: 48"
- Maximum drawer box depth: 24"
- Maximum cabinet height: 96"
- Maximum cabinet width: 48"
- Maximum cabinet depth: 30"
